Custom Engraving Price List
Below you will find estimated pricing for commonly engraved item types. You can use this as a guide for custom engraving costs. Prices may vary slightly based on the size, shape and material you provide. Please see our section Submit Your Own Item For Laser Cutting/Engraving for more details. There are no artwork setup fees.
Odd shaped and metal items will cost slightly more due to additional setup and processing time.
Base Pricing:
Price is per item with a $10.00 minimum per item. Prices below are for reference only and an actual quote must be received before an order can be placed. Unlimited text and basic logos are included for free on all items sold on our website. If you plan on doing a large order we are happy to quote a volume discount.
Engraving Setup Fee = $5.00 per item
First line of text up to 30 characters = $5.00
Each additional line of text up to 30 characters = $4.00
First line of text up to 30 characters = $5.00
Each additional line of text up to 30 characters = $4.00
Line Graphics = $0.60 per square inch or portion thereof, $4.00 minimum
Photos & Clipart = $0.75 per square inch or portion thereof, $5.00 minimum
Laser Cutting = depends on complexity of graphic and thickness of material.

Design Work = depends on complexity of design, but generally $60 per hour in 10 minute increments or portion thereof. We have a large graphics library and our design team would be happy to design something special for your product.
Example 1: You submit a cutting board for engraving. You want 2 lines of text and a 5" x 5" photo engraved on the front. The estimated cost would be $32.75 ($5 engraving setup fee, $5 for 1st line of text, $4 for second line of text and $18.75 for the photo engraving--25" @ $0.75 per inch).
Example 2: You submit a glass plate that you would like engraved as an anniversary gift and would like us to design the artwork. We propose a center clipart graphic surrounded by text. It takes us 25 minutes to create the design ($10 per 10 min. = $30), the logo is 1.5" x 1.5" (2.25 square in. x .75/in. = $2.25) and one line of text around the graphic ($4). Including the $5 engraving setup fee, your estimated cost would be $41.25 including all custom design and engraving. If you submit your own design the cost would be $11.25. We will provide discounts for quantity orders.
Example 3: You submit a gunstock for engraving with a 2" x 3" lineart buck logo. The estimated cost would be $10.00 (minimum charge).
Please understand that engraving quotes are done on a case-by-case basis and that the item's size, material and shape are all factors we consider in our quotes. In addition, if you need multiple of the same item engraved will we provide discount pricing. Please contact us for a free quote.

Wood Items
Includes pens, drum sticks, tool handles, frames, cutting boards, etc.
Glass Items
Includes plates, mirrors, tiles, ashtrays, curios, etc.
Metal Items
Includes knives, signs, tools, etc.
Stone Items
Includes marble or granite tiles, river stones, memorials, etc.
Plastic & Acrylic Items
Includes store signs, key chains, name tags, etc. We do not engrave or cut PVC or plastics with Chloride content as lasering these materials releases toxic gases into the environment.
